Scared! What should I do?

To watch videos on YouTube that are over 18, you have to send your ID or credit card so that age verification can take place. Since I was fed up with this annoying pop-up and I'm over 18, I sent Google the front of my ID and am now waiting for the result.

However, I realized that I acted far too hastily and that sending this image to Google might not have been such a smart move. I've also read many times online that it's best not to do it… I feel extremely bad right now and am almost having a panic attack, afraid that something bad could happen… What could Google do with the data in the worst case scenario? I don't mind that they have a picture of me, but my signature, access number, and serial number were visible in the picture…

Have any of you made the same “mistake” and did anything worrying happen?

Google is one of the largest companies worldwide. They won’t be able to get involved in criminal acts because of an ID from anyone if the picture sees anyone at all.
