Scammed in classified ads, what should I do?

Hello,

I bought something through the classifieds and realized I was being scammed by someone who handed me a fake product, even though I was promised the real thing. What can I do about it? I paid the money in cash, and all I know is his appearance and his classifieds account. Can the police do anything if I show them his classifieds account? And he most likely didn't use his real name either.

I'm asking for advice because I was deducted 200 and that's a lot for me.

I don't see any contradiction there. We met, I received the product and paid cash, and after opening it, I noticed it was fake. The packaging was original, or at least looked that way.

Das wird schwierig.

Erstmal muss der Verkäufer gefunden werden, Kleinanzeigen wird Dir da nicht helfen.
Dann musst Du nachweisen, dass Du genau dieses gefälschte Produkt von genau diesem Verkäufer gekauft hast.
Und dann wird Dich der Richter fragen, warum Du das Produkt nicht vor der Übernahme und vor der Bezahlung geprüft hast, das wäre nämlich Deine Aufgabe gewesen.

I didn't mention it in the text, and it was completely new in packaging, and I wanted to open it, but he said he wouldn't take it back because it wouldn't sell well. I simply trusted him because the packaging looked very authentic and it wasn't even opened yet.
