Scam or serious matter?
Someone recently wrote to me and told me that if I write to him I would get a large sum of money every week. He then told me that he would transfer his money to me and that I had given him my PayPal. I thought it was worth a try and didn't think anything of it. But then he told me that for some reason I had to pay a bitcoin worth €100 to get the money and then sent me a link and told me to pay €100 on the website and then the money would be transferred to me straight away.
I said I wouldn't do it and then he said I had to because he had already sent the money and he wouldn't get it back. The whole thing was very suspicious because sometimes he wrote huge texts with no spelling mistakes and lots of emojis, and sometimes just short texts with lots of spelling mistakes. I asked him for a picture of himself and when he sent the picture I searched for it on Google Lens and found an Instagram account that had a different name than him. So I was 100% sure it was a scam and blocked him.
20 minutes ago I received a message on another messenger platform from what appeared to be a PayPal service employee in the United States telling me to check my email and that they had noticed that I had a "pending transaction". The email that I then received is very suspicious. I don't know what to do. I've blocked the number but I'm still so scared that I've done something illegal or something. Please help me, I'm so unsure right now.

Look at the address that’s supposed to come from Paypal. Never in life, you gave your email to the type and it will of course be entered in all other Scam mail distributors

Known fraud.
If there are 3 debes in every day, he makes 300€ a day and laughs dead about the debes who believed him.
Honestly speaking – keyword “media competency”: Quite worrying that you actually thought it was possible that you could get a lot of money in this way.
No one gives you money for writing, that’s Scam.
You pay the 100€ and he’s gone.
First, he’ll try to get more money out. If something didn’t work, it’ll take another 100€.
The classic Scam is the first to pay money so you get money “gifted”.
