Testing the Saxonette ignition spark, but how?

Good day,
A friend of mine has purchased a Saxonette and would like to test the ignition coil, the CDI and the spark plug for functionality.
Unfortunately, I only know about Piaggio and Puch mopeds that have a pedal start. What about the Saxonette? How is the ignition spark tested?
I suspect that the spark plug is screwed into the connector and then pulled on the pull starter, is that correct?

Thank you in advance

If the part has a rope hoist starter, it’s just that. The candle must be in the plug and rest on the motor housing, start and the spark must then be visible.
