Visiting a sauna as a newbie?
I do sports at a high level and was looking for ways to relax and regenerate, and that's when I came across "sauna."
Now I would like to have a "sauna evening" once a month, but I have no real idea about it and wanted to ask a few questions:
Does it even make sense to only go once a month? And how long should a sauna visit last?
– How do you sauna properly? Just sit in the sauna for 10 minutes and then go into the cold pool?
– How many degrees should the sauna have or Wv degrees are tolerable/suitable for beginners
– Do you have any other general tips for my first visit? What should I look out for/avoid?
You’re asking? Under at least 80% NON-Saunagoers? 😉 Here there are people who tell you everything possible, but themselves were never in a sauna….
Now to the thing…
The first time you’re sacrificing is that creepy. You fight against the heat and you will ask yourself if it really does. How do you do it right?
It would be right to start carefully. This means lower or medium bank in at least 75 degrees or hotter, you stay in there as long as you feel about. 8 minutes are recommended, but your feeling is decided. After that it goes to the fresh air, short and then under the as cold as possible shower in order right leg, left leg, right arm left arm, back front then head and everything… Then break for the same time as you were in the cabin. Then everything from the front. This passage as much as 3 times (recommended) More than three does not harm, however, depending on your time and well-being.
High-performance porters go to the sauna after every training, because nothing is better than preventing muscle craters, blood circulation is stimulated, the body comes back super down after training…
For the “sauna effect”, this is called because the body is immunized by the sauna visits against cold cracks and the sensitivity in heat and cold will only enter approximately after 6 weeks and even if you spend at least 1 times a week then 3 passages in the sauna.
But the well-being you have in the sauna even at low visits like 1 times a month etc.pp.
We wish you a lot of success, maybe you’ll get a sauna fan like us… 🙂

Yeah, every sauna visit makes sense.
This is individual. We usually stay all day from 10:00 to 23:00, with hourly pouring.
Yeah, you can do that. But there aren’t really solid rules.
This is also individual. The temperature range begins at about 40° C. and goes up to above 100° C.
You can start with moderate (50°C+) temperatures and then slowly increase the temperature and duration of your stay.
Several towels, at least one to dry, one to lower in the sauna. Bathrobe, bath tubs and sufficient quantities of mineral water/drinks.
Sauna is great for the regeneration after sports, it strengthens the immune system and makes just a lot of pleasure.
Between 70-90 degrees it should be, usually 10-20 min depending on the feeling per sauna walk. It is important to cool down properly and then lay down and relax. 2-3 saunas I would recommend drinking a bit between. Do not use full belly in the sauna and take enough time.
You should not be fixed to a certain duration or temperature, but be careful to the body.. You do not have to break a record but feel comfortable. I also have different condition as a souvenir, sometimes I have enough after 10 minutes and I will stay over 20 minutes. And the humidity also plays a great role, the temperature alone says little.
If you are well tolerated, you stay longer and go to the higher benches, if you don’t go to the 60 degree sauna .. but then you can stay half an hour.
If you have a Smart Watch, you can watch your pulse, which first slowly rises when it is enough, the one level has reached an aerobic training (140+) .. then it is time to go and later also a rest phase and not just new loads or after 10 min to the next sauna. One gear per hour is a good sequence.
And if you do it well and after more heat, dann goes into the infusion. It feels really hot, there are different fragrances and is usually well visited .. Enge must not be unpleasant ..
After every training I go to the sauna in the gym, it is for me to relax the muscles.
Most of them have already been answered, but once/month I find too little. This has hardly any effect. Regular after sports would be better.
