Hello guys, I had the fun idea of converting a naturally aspirated engine to a turbo.
A freely programmable control unit is too expensive.
Then I asked myself, isn't it possible to buy a 1.8t control unit, throw it onto the vacuum cleaner and then adapt the software with a flasher?

Hey everyone, I installed a radio in my E46 and when I removed the climate control unit the small plastic part (see picture) that inserts the black, yellow and white bands broke in two halves. My question is: Can I buy the small plastic part or where?
Sure you can do that. Maybe hold a minute – then the engine is junk.
If it starts at all, the control unit must be identical first. Then all sensors are missing or give false signals. The ECU recognizes this and prevents the start process and your car becomes the property.
