Hello everyone Does anyone have experience with watches like this and could give me some information about what they are? Unfortunately, I don't have any information about the material; the watch is from England. What could a watch like this still be worth today? Thank you !
Does anyone happen to know? It would really help me a lot. Thanks 🙂
This should be a copper sealing ring. It doesn’t matter how you pick up the patina. You can put in Cola.
If you ever find copper coins: They can’t be treated wet! Also not with water or sink. This will allow you to dry and then take a small brush, cut its bristles very short and thus brush them (dry!!!).
Ohhh thank you and I thought I might have found an old ring, pity but full of brilliant that you know what it is! Thank you.
I would recommend strong alcohol or even better propyl alcohol

Shame! Then I have to admit that, thank you.

Pur or diluted?
Pure. Leave it on for an hour and then scrub thoroughly.
