I'm looking for an adapter that converts a USB data cable to a SATA data cable. It's important that the drive is powered by another source. Conventional adapters always have a USB cable and a single SATA and power connection on the hard drive side. However, I want to use an internal PC power supply for the power connection.
Is there such an adapter without a power connection?
