SAT/TV/Radio/DATA signal technology, what comes from where and what is what?

Hello everyone.

I have a question about the antenna socket/multimedia socket.

The conventional ones consist of TV/SAT and radio. There are also the newer multimedia sockets with two satellites, etc. My two questions are simply questions of comprehension. Isn't TV the same as satellite? Or does the reception come from somewhere else, via an antenna or dish? Can someone explain this to me in detail? I'm completely clueless and would like to understand it properly.

The other question is, what's the deal with the DATA access? These days, it's usually satellite -> router -> TV. Can someone please enlighten me? :DI can't find anything satisfactory on the internet.

the modern multimedia wall cans are mainly used in cable connections, the third (screw) connection being provided for connection to a router, the other two being the usual cinch connectors for tv and radio.

the house has a satellite dish, usually only the screw connection for tv will be present, radio can then only be received terrestically via antenna.
