Is Santander Bank RSV Plus necessary for financing?

Hello, quick question.

A friend of mine financed a car. He paid approximately €3,000 in cash, and the remaining €4,500 was financed through Santander Bank.

Two days ago he received a letter from Santander Bank, more precisely the insurance certificate.

On the back, it was listed that he had to pay a lump sum! It appears to be RSV Plus insurance. Unfortunately, he doesn't remember what he signed at the car dealership a few weeks ago – and he didn't get any documents, despite asking.

Can I cancel RSV Plus insurance coverage, or does it require financing? Is there any way to get out of this situation?

Thank you in advance for your answers. Best regards.

Of course you can revoke.
The deadlines are detailed in the contract, as well as at which point of revocation must be received.

The best peer mail route but email goes too.

The amount is not normally paid at once, but is in the financing calculated on the monthly rates.

An RSV is optional, not mandatory.

The consultant only gets delicious money to sell you an RSV.

The question is whether you want this at all. Does your acquaintance wife and children have to pay for any death? Does it threaten unemployment, illness, where contributions can not be paid very quickly? M.E. can make such an insurance quite reasonable.

Of course, he should receive documents on the loan.
