Santander Bank?
Good day, my father died some time ago, but Santander Bank still charges me 15 €. Could this be a basic fee?

Can I easily pay or withdraw money in Mallorca with my normal Raiffeisenbank card?
Hello everyone, Since the Amex promotion is over, I'm considering getting a Blue Amex card for now. Do you think it's worth it, or will I no longer get points if I upgrade from Blue to Platinum? 🙏🏼 Thanks in advance:)
Hey dear ones, I just ordered from Holy, an online shop that sells energy drinks. The money was debited but I was not redirected to the website. Later it said that it didn't work and my order was canceled. But the money is gone and support says I didn't order. How or when do I…
Heyy, Since I'm having recurring problems with my bank (Sparkasse) at the moment, I want to change banks, but I'm totally unsure which is the best or most suitable one. I'm simply looking for an account where I can get my salary, have a good overview and withdraw money almost anywhere. I'm 18 years old…
Hello and my condolences. As far as the fees are concerned, I can badly estimate that you do not provide any information, e.g. how often. If this comes quarterly, the fees may be due from the account statement. Don’t you have any extracts? Are you empowered or are there bank powers beyond death?
From now on it becomes more complicated:
Does the Santanderbank already know about the father’s death? If not, you should inform the bank. With the notification, all accounts of the father are rewritten to estate and blocked until the inheritance has been clarified and proven. This can then cause the resolution or can be rewritten by the complete customer connection. Payments for e.g. funeral costs are possible against proof.
You can’t say much more without more specific information. Recommendation: Make appointment with the bank. Gruss
My heartfelt condolences at this point still in decline
No topic you must send a copy of it death certificate to the bank, but then immediately closed.
Is there a will? Look at all the documents. At my dad we found savings books in the laundry cabinet from the post office he had totally forgotten.
You can only recommend it.
… the account is closed immediately … with certainty not only due to the death certificate ☝️
I suspect that this is account management fees that exist for as long as the account also exists.
The last time I paid 30 years ago. My bank(s) don’t take any.
Me neither.
But many still take fees.
Aha
I don’t know and I don’t care.
I’m happy with my bank.
What is the advantage of such banks?
Take a look at the account statement.
If that doesn’t help, ask the bank.
So are account management fees only? So there shouldn’t be a minus on the account if only 15 € are booked or
So the Santander consumer bank bay always €15 at the discount account so there are two accounts seen once that at the Santander the in turn bay always knows about €15 at the volksbank there may be someone out of these €15 only account management fees normally they would have to pay more money if e.g. Minus at the bank, so I would be talking to the Santander
If no cash inputs are made to the account, it will eventually slip into the minus. There are even interest and fees.
If the account is not used, you should close it.
No one will be able to tell you this. You have to ask Santander Bank.
How about asking the bank?
