Should you eat Salad Olivier with a spoon or fork?
Hi,
I'm at my grandma's right now, and she was mad when I ate the Olivier salad with a spoon because she says it's a rule that you eat every salad with a fork and knife. So, my question is: Do you also eat all salads with a fork and knife, or whichever makes the most sense?
It is the rule of rules that they are very often unnecessary. Without meaning. Fortunately, this generation understands that from my young ignorant eyes more than the older ones..but good, in this case it is not so serious.
A spoon is in fact the better choice, quite clear.
Mostly with a spoon, except I have larger salad leaves and that with a spoon would only cause a mess, then of course a fork.
I’ll take the cutlery that’s best for me.
Well expressed!
With fork. But Isa like you. Mainly it tastes. Tell your grandma he’s so tasty and you take a spoon to enjoy him generously. Thanks to her for dinner and help her wash off.
I don’t care how comfortable I eat.
Would you in the restaurant even in the case that it is more convenient to eat with spoons or take the fork from “Etikett” anyway?
With the fork. In the restaurant you are only soup, stews or sweet with a spoon. with the spoon you tend to snare.
Just like I’m comfortable.
Use what you want is your decision.
I’m never slinging.
If you were to listen to all the rules of old people, you could shoot yourself.
