7800x3d,

Any multithreaded tasks I do are just a hobby. there’s no difference whether I’m waiting for 5 minutes or 10. If I would do this professionally, this is an important difference because time is money.

On the other hand, money plays a role for me, as well as playing in couples, the 7800x3D is actually better because its structure is simpler (a single CCX instead of two that need to work together)

For pure gaming the 7800X3D.
The 7950X3D is neither fish nor meat. It has no extraordinarily good work performance and is also less good when playing.
If you want one that can be both excellent, the 14900K would be the best choice. It is only minimally weaker when playing and has more than double working performance.

Simple:

Do you use applications that can benefit from 16 CPU cores?

If so, the 7950X3D could be worth it for you.

If no, then the 7800X3D is completely sufficient.

Which one would you take?

I chose the 7800X3D. I use so rare applications that could benefit from the additional cores that it was simply not worth it with the surcharge.

Hello,

I would personally reach the Ryzen 7 7800x3D. For my purposes, the processor is sufficient. If there’s something that needs a lot of multicore performance, I can do it anyway. It takes a little longer.

Apparently the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, because the other one would be too expensive to me and I don’t necessarily need so many cores.

I’m currently both CPU’s too expensive…

The 7800x3d, because I don’t need the multicore performance.
