Rufus doesn't do anything after formatting?

I wanted to load an ISO file onto my USB stick and for that I used Rufus. Up until now everything was fine and good but after formatting it doesn't work anymore. It just says 100.0% formatting but nothing happens and this is the second time. Do you have any recommendations as to what I could do?

Previous formatting of the stick is unnecessary.
If you have a Win11 want to create installation stick, go ahead as shown below:

In this case, you can copy the contents of the ISO file directly on the stick, on the root folder, i.e./stick. However, must be formatted to FAT32 before using Windows Explorer, NOT by Rufus, is also not possible.

Is not recommended, but should work

What is a parent folder? With a simple copy, it won’t work.
This only goes to an already formatted disk, but the boot code is not copied where the BIOS is looking for it.

An ISO file contains the boot code, the entire structure as a hard drive.
That’s like buying dishes for a kitchen, but that’s already sorted into a closet. The “formatting” insert boards, drawers, shelves are already there.

So you have to put this “sick” on the stick. Linux does this for example with the dd command, Windows with rufus.

“Bootcode,” I never heard in my life, probably doesn’t exist.

What is a parent folder?

The top level of a data structure or a data carrier. In the case of the stick.

This only goes to an already formatted data carrier

I mentioned that in my answer.

the boot code is not copied where the BIOS is looking for it.

As I said, there is no boat code. The questioner probably has a PC, whereupon the UEFI firmware runs. The required EFI file required for booting in a UEFI firmware is then always included in this with WIndows 10 ISO file, so you will also copy it. As I have already said, formatting on FAT32, which is necessary in this case, I mentioned quite clearly.

So I don’t understand the reason for your comment
