Back pain at work?

I've been working at a garden center for a week now, following the winter break. There, I have to bend down a lot and often lift heavy things. Since my second day back, I've had pain in my lower lumbar spine, or rather, in the area of my sciatic nerve. The pain gets worse with prolonged bent-over posture or lifting. It only gets better when I sit down. Last year, I also had similar "initial pain," but it got better over time. About me: I'm 26 years old and have a pronounced hunchback with a pronounced hollow back.

In your opinion, is the pain harmless or could it already be a herniated disc?

I recommend visiting Orthopaedics.

If everything is okay again, I recommend a back training to strengthen muscles. I’m 67 and I’ve been going to Kieser training three times for years.

This should be an orthopaedic. Harmless the pain is certainly not, but also does not have to be a disc drop

You should consult an orthopedist.
