rtx 3050 6gb pcie 2.0 oder 3.0?
Die Sache ist diese, ich habe eine rtx 3050 6gb, weil ich nur einen 180 w psu habe. ich schaue gerade nache inem neuen motherboard (und psu und case) und frage mich, ob pcie 2.0 oder 3.0 ein bottleneck für diese grafikkarte sein wird. Es soll natürlich für die zukunft nutzbar sein, aber für jetzt, wird 2.0×16 ein bottleneck?
Pcie 3.0 shouldn’t be a problem yet, only with pcie 2.0 it can already be extreme power losses.
But also really depends on the scenario and the exact graphics card.

the RTX 3050 is not a good card from the house. The 6 GB version is even worse than the 8 GB version. PCIe 2.0 will already cut the performance… with such a system the other components will probably limit the performance.

PCIe 2.0 would be on an already strongly outdated platform with AMD socket AM3(+) or older, or Intel LGA 1155 + Core 2000 series (or older) indicate. Depending on the game, the CPU would probably already form a bottleneck in itself.
Therefore, as a substructure for this GPU, you should use at least one more modern platform with PCIe 3.0 support, because the GPU is connected to the infrastructure at least with 8 lanes.
