RS3 engine in another car?

I'm thinking about buying an RS3 engine and installing it in my car. I have a 2012 Audi Q3 8U 2.0 TDI with 130kW (177hp) and would like to install the legendary 5-cylinder engine. I wanted to ask if it would be possible, not just in theory but also in practice, and if it would be approved. As far as I know, the 5-cylinder is installed in the RSQ3, so there shouldn't be any problems. However, since my Q3 is from 2012, I don't know if it's a simple matter of having it installed and that's it, which is why I wanted to ask and see if a professional could answer my question.
