(RPG) Item categories?
Hello, I would like to create a classification of all possible items for game development.
So far I have these main categories
Collectibles:
Materials (ores, rocks, wood…)
Drops (fruits, vegetables, monster loot)
Other (artifacts, books)
Consumables:
Drinking trough
Food
Wearables:
Equipment
Tools
Weapons
Buildables:
Construction (walls, doors)
Furniture (furniture, crafting stations)
Nature (plants)
What would you categorize differently? What other items could there be?
I would make weapons and tools into a separate category because you don’t wear them
Well, I’d define the translation to be equitable, you take the things in your hand, and you’ll turn out, I’d say. Equipable, so to speak.
