Red wine in goulash?

Hi, I have a question. I want to make goulash tomorrow, and I saw that it requires almost an entire bottle of red wine. I'm using Blaufränkisch, and it needs to cook for two hours. Will you get drunk afterward? If there's alcohol in the food?

Hello

Red wine in the Gulasch?

I want to prepare Gulasch tomorrow and have seen that belong to an almost whole bottle of red wine inside. I have blue french, and it has to cook two hours. Are you getting drunk? If alcohol is in the food?

Red wine in Gulasch can be very delicious. There are countless goulash recipes, from various countries. Red wine in Gulasch is not a must be. Gulasch can also be prepared without red wine.

Many meat dishes can be prepared with wine.

A classic would be, for example, Coq au vin.

If people tell you red wine and goulash would not fit, then they just have no idea about cooking.

When I prepare goulash, I let the beef marinate for several days (2-4) in red wine before I start processing it. This gives the meat a very special touch and it becomes very delicate. I usually use a Bordeaux wine. I use two bottles of red wine on a kilo of goulash. Don’t worry about the alcohol. A large part boiled.

Gues success in cooking…

Good to you… and stay healthy.

Greeting, RayAnderson 😉

No, the alcohol is boiling. Also always like to take red wine for Gulasch, so the beef becomes nicely tender. There is also a pleasantly strong taste.

Yeah, it’s gonna cook at least an hour. If you don’t eat dry alcoholics or little kids can do that. It won’t get hurt.

There are enough recipes without red wine. I sometimes do without – but if not so much.

You didn’t pay attention to that in physics. When does water cook? Well…

OK, I’ll help after: 100°C

And when does alcohol cook? ….. 78°C….

Means that the alcohol largely evaporates.

I made it with red wine. I didn’t taste it. I think beer is better. Must taste you and not me.
