I have a 2005 Piaggio Fly50. I removed the front fairing and checked why the speedometer wasn't working properly. The shaft and worm gear are in good condition and work. The only problem is that the needle doesn't rotate back down. That's why it was completely behind the small pin at one point. Does anyone have any idea what I could do?

Hello. It sounds like your problem does not have to do with the shaft or the snail. It is probably a problem with the mechanism that moves the needle. I’d suggest you put the disguise back and check the mechanism. See if everything is properly assembled and whether all parts work properly.
