Scooter drives 60-70 kmh with car license

Good day,

A friend said that since his scooter is from 2001, he's allowed to drive at 60-70 km/h if he has a B-Class license plate. He also said he hasn't modified anything on the scooter. Is it true that he's allowed to drive that fast just because the scooter was built in 2001?

No

The driving licence is crucial, older drivers may even drive up to 125 cm.

Class B is 50 cm and up to 45 km/h

The scooter has nothing to do with it.

If it can be a 50 ccm scooter that can drive 70 km/h, the license is extinguished due to conversion, I would not drive either.

Old scrap and Honeker’s chain saw who’s driving this?

My Zündapp 50 ccm went 82 km/h at 6.25 ps and that already 1973 / Class 4

Here in the countryside, some of them go around, but rarely.

A new regulation was created only in 2002, which states that with class b so pkw only roller from 2002 to max. 50kmh is allowed to drive the roller older than bj 2002 he is allowed to drive faster you can drive out of the rehearsal time you can drive the roller as fast as he can’t get as long as he’s not tinted

Hello varavfr

at the AM, which is present at the B, it is already relevant when the vehicle was approved for the first time, see:

Motorcycles with max. 50 ccm displacement and a bbH of max. 50 km/h, if they have been placed on the market for the first time by 31.12.2001.

Small motorcycles, which have been launched for the first time by 28.02.1992 under the law of the former GDR, max. 60 km/h

he must not drive 60km/h but only 50km/h

One should introduce the old FRG scheme for small motorcycles before 1.4.80 throughout the EU.Before this time, motor and moped drivers were allowed to drive small motorcycles up to 80 ccm, and V unlimited. The class AM would be the racer in the truest sense, unlike the current Murks with 45 Km/h. All 125er regulations, of course, would have protection.

This has nothing to do with the year of the scooter.

And he can’t.

I mean no in front of all a roller of this class if a 50ccm is allowed to drive max 45 kmh otherwise you don’t have a bad time and that would be tax fraud because you need a big kennzeichen and everything over 45kmh needs a good time!

Roller to incl. 125 ccm are tax-free, we have 2 of them.

Here the Zündapp 50 ccm from 1973, 82 km/h was the driving licence of class 4.

Everyone could be really proud of their 4th driver’s license and drive a small-powered wheel, which already had motorcycle characteristics in terms of speed. But today, fade food is offered, no one dares a journey with a 45th russian saw on a multi-driven federal road. I’m glad not to be dependent on the rotten AM, but on A1.

No, that’s not true. With class B Maximum 45 Km/h. There are exceptions for a few vehicles, but they are far older than 2001
