Scooter goes 35 instead of 25. Is that bad?

Hey, if all goes well, I'll have my test certificate in a week and then I'll be allowed to ride a scooter/moped, but with the speed limit set at 25. I already have a scooter here, but it goes between 30 and 35. There's always a certain tolerance, but would you say it's still okay if the police stop me? Oh, and the scooter has two papers: one for a 25 cc license and another for a 50 cc license. So, it can't be the papers that are the problem.

Does the rocket have a tacho?

Ultimately, you are responsible for maintaining the prescribed maximum speed for Mofas.

This also applies, for example, when you drive down a steep mountain and get far over 25 km/h fast – even if you don’t give a gas.

It is always a top speed speech – not whether the mill can be a bit fast.

If you climb 30 km/h through a playground, where 10 km/h are allowed, this will also have consequences for mofa drivers.

Don’t worry

Meanwhile, you will be given a tolerance of 3-4 km/h. The technical possibilities are now as good as possible to precisely adjust the speed. At 35km/h you are already in the field of driving without driving permission

  1. The tacho always shows a little more than the bowl actually drives.
  2. If there is always a certain tolerance upwards on the work side, of course the police also know.
  3. In case of doubt, the nen test benches have, so you can perform the bowl. And only when the thing was put on to make it “faster” will the streaks get angry.

I went through with my scooter, is a 50s that runs its (measured)55-57 on the factory side. They were running a little forehead, but it was really delivered at work (at the test time 4 months old). I was then whipped.

25 km/h must be entered first.

If that thing goes 35 to Tacho, maybe 30-31. That’s still pretty lame.

Nobody wins you.

This is still in the manufacturing tolerance.

30-40 years ago, manufacturers like Kreidler and Zündapp took out much more. Things were generally about 40 on the tachometer.

No, it’s all right. Every vehicle has a tolerance and the police will never say anything

With this you should get annoyed, create another Cdi (there are also where you can adjust the speed) and keep to the specifications with it you are safe. A big problem would be if you have an accident and aren’t guilty, but a reviewer finds out that the scooter drives too fast.

Don’t believe the tacho.

I used to have the old one in the car.

Then a calibrated… 50 Km displayed.

If it is called “25” then it is not “30” or “35”.

It’s clear, isn’t it? There is no tolerance.
