Returning to riding?

Hi,

I started riding when I was about 11 and continued the hobby until I was about 14 or 15. Since my partner at the time passed away, I gave up riding.

I'm 20 now and would love to start riding again, but I'm worried that I've forgotten or even unlearned a lot of things. I'd like to start taking riding lessons, but I'm kind of afraid of being judged, since I'm just starting out again. Also, the people at riding stables aren't always that friendly.

Do you have any tips for starting over, etc.?

Thanks in advance!

You don’t learn. It wasn’t long. Teaching is always good. Errors are noticed directly, insurance etc. Can choose the suitable horse and you feel safer

In the evening, the professionals are there and tw are even bloody beginners. Horsemen are more uncomplicated, but you can’t make a joke. It’s always funny.

Didn’t anyone find it funny when an adult starts sport (again), on the contrary. Take a few carrots, ask what you want to know, share/library things you do anyway. Drum, enjoy, not expect too much of you to meet others

You shouldn’t go straight with gr. Drop and pick up brand clothes and get nothing regulated. Who doesn’t know that…

Well, there are always and everywhere the scavengers/best with power. You should be treated as everywhere. Like the muscle cat on the day. It is really not a ton between legs 🙂

Being angry, everyone knows that everyone was new. You’ll be fun. The club life is also cool, even Christmas e.g. or jux tournaments. (Sage how it has been and what the muscle cat does!!)

Hey! Don’t worry:)

The riding stables I know are always great when young adults start riding again!

I myself came back to a farm as a newcomer. Step and Trab worked as if I had never been out of the saddle. The only thing I’ve learned was the balance and the easy to go along in motion. Legs and hands were again restless and could not give proper gallop aid.

But that didn’t last long and I sat back in all three ways on the horse.

It takes time to find out. But after a few months, there are clear improvements to the mountain.

See if your riding school offers riding lessons/groups for adults. You’ll feel comfortable. Children can sometimes look wrong, but hey! This goes back in 2.3 weeks. Be proud of you.

At my riding school we have a newcomer who started after 15 years. She has arrived great in our (adult) riding group and everyone has understanding and is happy with every riding success!

Make it:)

20 isn’t age yet – of course you can get back in. The idea with the riding hours is right – for a riding share it would be much too early.

Just take a look at the riding schools near you, watch a few lessons, talk to the riding instructors, and then – if you feel comfortable – just take a sample hour.

Why would you be convicted? It becomes problematic in my experience whenever you start selling better than you actually are. Be honest from the start – say you haven’t been on the horse for years and want to start “from the front”. In a good operation, you will begin with individual hours until you are certain again – you have absolutely no pressure to prove or compare. Just have fun – the rest comes from itself:)

Hello, you can get back soon, with me it was about. 15 years where I was no longer ridden, the three gears I could still and the rest I would have been able to rejoice soon, but have to count on big muscle cats I had it 3 days

It’s strange that the same question has been answered recently. Still, just start like you’ve never sat on the horse. It’s not unusual when someone starts as an adult. Thanks to your previous experience, you will make progress soon.

Find a good location where you want to ride.

Just tell me what it is (as here) and then it’s going on.

You’re neither accredited nor 98 years old… 🙂

Hey, don’t worry. You can ask at a riding school if you can have a preparation lesson, in which it will be judged what you can do and what you can’t. Then you come to a group that is adapted to your level.

No false barbarity, you will not be put to S-Reiters 😉
