Returning an Origin game, where does the money go?
If I return a game on Origin, do I get the money back or just as credit that I can only redeem on Origin?

On Steam you get it back as you paid. So if you have paid with as a Steam credit, as a credit when you have paid with PayPal, via PayPal.
No idea of Origin.
I’m pretty sure they don’t want to lose their money then they’d rather give you something else
