Return experience at Mediamarkt?

Hello,

I have the following problem! I bought a television from Mediamarkt yesterday for €1,299, but I put down a €500 deposit to make the offer expire. I was just pressed for time because the offer only ran until yesterday! After I got home, I measured my attic apartment and realized that because of the slope, I'd have to mount it almost on the floor to fit in the corner!

As far as I know, the 14-day return policy only applies to online purchases! Do I have the right to return it now? Because if I have to buy it, it would be extremely bad because, as I said, it doesn't fit.

Can I always return purchased goods in the store? No, defective goods can only return customers on a cunning basis. If a product purchased in the store does not please, the dealer does not have to take it back. In other words, if the goods are defective or parts are missing – if there is a defect.

The easiest thing would be if you were to call the media market and ask if they were willing to take your TV back on a cunning basis.

Hm… so until now I have met MediaMarkt as a relatively cunent. You haven’t got the TV at home yet… means there aren’t any traces of use or anything.

Personally, I think you have a good chance. Try to discuss it personally and explain your problem… good luck!

Mediamarkt would have to be extremely cunning. By the way, you are the perfect target group for primitive sales knits. brain completely switched off.

As you write correctly, the right to return is only available when buying online. So this is now dependent on the cunency of the respective market. And for the next time, you usually measure something like that before buying.
