Retrofit a shark antenna?
Hi, I'd like to retrofit a shark antenna on my car. I've found a few that I think would look good, but I'm skeptical whether it's enough to just stick the antennas on, as most people do.
Does anyone have any experience with whether something like this still holds up after a few rain showers? Or does anyone know of a better alternative where one can buy something like this that has better or different fastening?

I’ve also rebuilt. requires 6m fakra cable and the antenna (65€ at vw)
the antenna cable rear glove compartment long, and then pull in the black to the rear seat bench. then the piece goes up at the c-säuöe and under the rear window long to the d-column. to close the last piece the d column up to the dach and there up to the middle to the antenne. there is also a plastic holder where you can clip the clutch when everything is connected that nix flaps.
antenne exchange is also relatively simple, but you need the best helper for a short time that holds the antenne during installation, since it logically presses high when applying the screw connection
Let the fingers of it have a retrofit (was not cheap), without amplifiers the reception quality is miserable. Only those with amplifiers are recommended, and for this purpose the inner sky has to be lowered. Making yourself is not recommended.
