Retainer schmerzt?
Hallo!
ich hab eine Frage bezüglich meines Retainers. Vielleicht kann mir da einer schon meine Sorgen nehmen, weil ich frühestens nächste Woche zum KFO gehen kann.
Mir ist vor schätzungsweise 3 Wochen unbemerkt der Retainer an einem Zahn im Unterkiefer abgegangen. Erst als sich der Zahn daneben verschoben hat, hab ich es bemerkt.
Notfallmäßig musste ich dann in eine fremde Praxis um ihn reparieren zu lassen. (Aufgrund eines Umzugs hatte ich noch keine)
Das war am Montag. Seitdem tut mir der Zahn ordentlich weh. Die Zähne drum herum sind sehr empfindlich und der Zahn selber schmerzt. Es ist schon leicht besser geworden, aber immer noch nicht weg und es ist 4 Tage her.
Sollte ich mir doll Sorgen machen oder kann das schon mal so sein wenn der Retainer so lange gelöst war?

the adhesive retainer holds the cutting teeth which are particularly susceptible to recurrent. But there are still other teeth to hold and for that you get the puffs or rails. So, if an adhesive point has dropped, then you just wear the container chips more and nothing can happen. If the adhesive point has dropped unnoticed and has moved, then you will notice when inserting the container arm and can look at the cause. And this catches the tanker arm.
If something has moved over a longer period of time and a new adhesive point is set, then the result that is just then retained. No tooth movements are carried out with an adhesive container. However, this can lead to the fact that the container arm no longer fits properly and must also be ground.
Now it’s just the way it is. Wait a few days, the pain should end. You know that about changing the bow.
