I'm looking for a reliable portable external hard drive, 2.5" or 3.5" with a USB-A port WITHOUT a power adapter/extra power supply. Are there any with capacities of 8 TB or more? Or is that technically impossible? I haven't been able to find any. Simply connect it to the TV for recording, and that's it.
Hello, I have the ASUS B550-e Gaming and therefore two M.2 SSD slots. Only one of them runs on PCIE 4.0 and the other on 3.0. Unfortunately, I can't find anywhere which one runs on 4.0 and which on 3.0… (not even in the manual). Attached is a photo and a link to the motherboard….
What do the SMART values of the HDD say? Please check them with Crystal DiskInfo.
