Good evening everyone!
I have the chance to get a (unfortunately defective) carbon frame at a reasonable price. It's a "Trek (Elite?) 9.8 OCLV Carbon." The material on the chainstay near the crank is so worn that there's a gaping hole in the stay. I hope this is visible in the photos. If that weren't enough, no other damage is known.
Repairable? Do it yourself? Have it repaired? Worthwhile?
