Renault Mégane Coupé: yellow wrench
I wonder if anyone knows this. I changed the oil in my Renault Mégane Coupé Cabriolet (http://www.giacuzzo.com/shop/images/renault/MeganeCC_Front_ab06.jpg ) myself, as it was due again according to the on-board computer.
How can I now change the on-board computer so that the message "Oil change due!" going out again? In addition, a yellow wrench lights up in the dashboard (according to the instructions: visit a workshop – precisely because of the oil change).
The instructions say that you have to press the "reset button". But I can't find it. The workshop doesn't know either. The guy connected a box like this to a cable in the cockpit and said that he couldn't delete the display with the strange device.
You have the keys for your BC. Click on the button until oil change appears due. then press them again and hold them down. Now there are 2 options, either you have to hold up until the display stops flashing or you have to let go as soon as the Km blinds to maintenance. Try the first variant first.
You certainly mean the button where you can "snap" how much you have been driving, for example, or how many km you can still drive without fueling. This is also displayed in this field in which the oil change occurs.
I've already tried and there's nothing wrong.
Then you'll have a button in the instrument panel. Then you have to snap until oil change is displayed in due order and then press and hold the button in the board. That could hurt because the button is quite pointed.
has worked! Thank you. Press button – oil change began to flash and the light then extinguished.
After 12 years I should know
and I also presuppose that in 2024 you know how to use a search engine… because then you would have stumbled about it https://carwiki.de/renault-megane-inspection-zurueckierung
I am always happy when I need to replace the classic search engine as a user and GF as a forum
In the meantime, I didn't have the car anymore and at the time I didn't find anything on the Internet, but thanks anyway. Thanks to @Thunder1262 it actually worked at that time. Good question helped me more than the workshop in a car 😅
and why ask the question again today…!? total waste of time again
it was not set by me again, but by another member of the community – sorry! I have nothing to do with it.
