Remove stuck aquarium filter?

I bought an aquarium set from Dehner with a glued-in filter. However, there's a gap of about a centimeter between the filter and the floor. Would it be better to remove the filter from the glass to make cleaning easier? If so, what's the best way to remove the filter and then reattach it?

Hello,

However, cic filter and floor is placed about a holder centimeter.

if the half centimeters interfere, you could also push a matching polystyrene strip underneath, then the space would be filled!

If so, how do I remove the filter best and then refix it?

If you really want to remove it, you could also think about an external filter!

Or even better with stones or gravel to equal half a centimeter that looks better.

That would probably bother him, as Mulm will pick up in the run of time.

Hi.

Know the dilemma 😩 have the same dilemma with my jewel aquarium. The braid is removed you lose the guarantee, that should be aware of you before. You get the whole thing perfectly with fishing cords, which thread and sew the silicone. After cleaning, the whole thing can be glued with aquarium silicone again, so you can fix the whole thing with adhesive tape so that it can dry out in peace before water is refilled. Once my manufacturer has questioned by e-mail, it is not necessary for them to clean up because it is only an optical make but should be harmless.

If I get that right, you don't need to clean big down there, there's the gravel, otherwise I'd rather get rid of it, the silicone sticks pretty tight, you should cut it out.

Leave it on, have only good experiences with built-in filters and you don't have to clean anything.
