Remember two sentences?

I have to remember two of your difficult sentences. But I can't get them into my head.

These two sentences are part of a 30-line poem. I've been repeating these sentences for hours, but I can't seem to get it right. My head is already full. Do you have any tips? What would you do?

Hello,

I know some good techniques. One of them works well, the other.

Chunking

  • You divide the sentences into small sections.
  • You only concentrate on 3-4 words and put them together in the end.

Visualization

  • introduce sentences as pictures/scenes
  • Even funny and crazy scenes from your own life are perfect for remembering them.

Sound recovery and rhythm

  • Talk the sentences in different rhythms.
  • Change is good and you hear it too.
  • It also offers to record the sentences and then listen again and again.

Letter

  • Write the words several times.
  • Writing stimulates many senses, making it easier to learn.

Change

  • Do not only learn by reading the sentences, but use various methods.
  • It also helps to change the place of learning as it clears the head.
  • It is also important to make breaks and not to learn for hours.

Relax

  • Stress can make learning difficult.
  • So take a few minutes to relax and then let go of learning.

I hope there is a suitable method and you learn your poem as quickly as possible.

Here are a few tips to remember the two sentences more easily:

Visualization

Imagine the sentences as pictures or stories in mind. The crazy, the longer your thoughts remember.

Breakdown

Share the sentences in smaller sections. Learn each section individually and then add it back together – like a puzzle.

rhythm and melody

Speak the sentences with a certain rhythm or sing them. So your brain saves it easier.

Letter

Write the sentences more often. This helps to anchor them in memory.

Maps

Note the sentences on a card and repeat them over the day.

Take breaks

Take a break in between. Distance often helps to think more clearly with fresh head.

If the sentences are still not sitting, they read you loudly before bed – in sleep, the brain often processes better.

Best to paint a few pictures on each line and then you should try fewer pictures
