Release steering wheel lock without ignition switch?

Good day,

Unfortunately, I had a problem yesterday where my engine wouldn't turn off (I couldn't turn the key anymore). So I quickly removed the ignition lock from the carrier, removed the key, and turned off the engine using the carrier.

Unfortunately, the steering lock has popped up, so I can't use the lock anymore. Does anyone have any tips?

Thanks in advance.

To a workshop. The steering wheel lock is designed so that it is not so easy to handle it.

Why didn’t you just strangle him? Are you telling us what kind of car it is? I could tell you something about the A6, but he has no more ignition lock 🙂

Oh Yeti, that’ll be difficult 🙂 I think it’s just gonna help the workshop. Maybe they have the tips, or they have to take the car off.
