Riding stable in Basel/surroundings?
Hi Community👋😂🐴
My question would be (not written so clearly above😅):
Does anyone know of a riding stable in Basel city or the surrounding area where you can learn to ride properly for a maximum of 40 Swiss francs per lesson , join as an advanced rider (from about the second horseshoe test, or roughly there in terms of learning), maybe go for a ride (or, by arrangement, an additional lesson…), do some ground work, and the horses are really well looked after ? It would, of course, be nice if you could groom the horses yourself outside of lessons, or just drop in and help out in the stable… (The absolute dream would be with Icelandic horses🐴😍🧊) I've already visited a few stables, but I'm not entirely satisfied yet… Perhaps someone knows of another stable that's private or doesn't have a website… (or a stable with a website😉)
(The stable I'm looking for is probably just wishful thinking (in the Basel area, because the farm I'm looking for is in Solothurn, which is just too far away😕) )
LG
I recommend you flip off the groups on Facebook.
There are regional equestrian groups everywhere, alá “Reiter in and around XY” or “Stem Experience in and around XY” etc.
what she wants is simply not available. in Switzerland there are no 600 euro cheap poles that supply the bellies.
even a pet caregiver at a showman earns 3,500 francs in the month. that would be a minimum wage for full time. (but not 38 hours/week, but 45-50)
edible woolly milk also does not exist in Switzerland.
Your pricing is illusory even for medium-class travel lessons. you get lessons in the group with 10 riders.
classes in groups up to 5 riders start at about 48 francs.
class with 2 riders is around the 70 francs, one hour a hundred.
the horses must be bought, trained and kept on the stand. that means 2x riding the week. the costs for trained staff or qualified cross-comers who earn btw almost as much as learned.
personal, the “helpful” reitschüler cares, must be provided extra.
in the welshland, the horses put on the grass and good is.
if it doesn’t have one in the baselbiet, this is a lot of space for horses.
look at the German side. Maybe you’ll find it.
I just wanted to ask if you know what… This shouldn’t be a, hey, where can I book for free a good riding instructor,” but an open question. Sometimes you have a bit of luck 🍀 and someone knows a stable or something…
Nevertheless thanks for the answer 😉🐴
all that is in Switzerland near the larger cities below the prices mentioned by me cannot be horse-friendly – and do not offer good lessons.
the doppelzentner good pferdeheu currently costs for companies around the 60 francs, the double-caged stroh around the 20 francs.
a big horse eats nearly 3 double-cuttered heu in the month and needs 4-5 double-cuttered straw.
there are envelopes for the infrastructure and the costs for ready, trainer and stall staff working for the daily work. additional maintenance costs, working, etc.
in the welshland most horses 24/7 are on the coupling.
Nee, Sorry miswritten by mir🤦 ♀️
I mean, that’s about The Isis, so just gone Tölt Rennpass and Beings(That’s different on every horse) and not whether they’re going to make up for the price…😅😂
It’s just my heart horses (not that the other can’t be, I just like the race)
an Icelandic does not eat much less. if you put it on the ride hour, the highest 1 franc per ride hour, which one Icelander eats less than a big horse.
the raw quantity is the same. I took the average as a mass.
the costs up to food and are the same for the big horse and the minishetty. because the rest of the wall is the same.
That with the Ionians was still attached to me, you wouldn’t care if it was Isis or not…
And yes I know how much a horse costs and that it doesn’t go at the price… 🙃
Okay, guys…this question wasn’t for me (even if it might have been very then) She was for a friend (BFF). Your parents, well, don’t have so much hobby budget and I just wanted to listen to them again. Even though I would support them in paying the hours, it is not for them or so that it would be a rough stress for their family…
