Riding school/lessons?
Hey, I'm currently at a riding stable where I take weekly lessons. Even though I really like the stable, I don't see the point in going there anymore because the riding lessons just don't help me enough. I'm currently in the beginners group because I haven't been there long, even though I'm confident in the saddle in all three gaits and can do everything completely on my own. We don't do that though, and we never canter. Of course, it's very boring for me because I'm actually already a really good rider. So I'm looking for a new stable where I can ride and where I'll be given encouragement, and where we can ride bareback, go on trail rides, and do more often and do more exciting things. Does anyone know of a stable near Bisingen in Baden-Württemberg? I would also be happy if I could go there twice a week. Thanks in advance for the help.
The whole question shows that you seem to have understood riding so far 0! What can you do all by yourself… sit on it and don’t fall down? In that case – oh wow. Grandios. Or actually riding the horse over the back, activating the backhand, riding clean lessons…?
What you want to do is juggle (without riding a saddle, “make more stretching things” – whatever that should be…) and so far away from conveying the riding kUNST, as it is to say, like the earth from the moon. No responsible court lets his pupils ride without saddle, no responsible student wants this. If you had any idea what a well-fitting saddle is!
typical small farms. how good that things are so far away…
there’s a comma in between, I meant both individually. With more exciting things it was just that you don’t always do the same, but again and again something new. Doing everything alone, know how to finish alone, get horse alone and so on
So what you should be able to do before you eat for the first time?
If you could do anything, you wouldn’t be in the “beginner group.” Maybe you’re just overestimated…
If you think to be mature for further promotion, talk to your riding instructor about it. Only speaking people can be helped, and this is usually the better solution than to get rid of.
Otherwise, you’ll have to look around yourself after another riding school because the likelihood of meeting someone who knows a farm near you is quite low.
You always get to the beginner group at the farm, no matter how good you can ride. After one year the group can be changed if this was so agreed with the riding teacher. I’m not a year there, so I couldn’t be in any other group.
Then just ask if you can change the group, the RL is sure you are wrong in the beginner group (if your own assessment is correct)!
If you don’t like it there, of course you can look for something else. It’s just that you’re not gonna find anything here on GF.
I still don’t really understand what your problem is. But no matter, my understanding wouldn’t help you 😉
Well, let’s go! 😅
I talked to my teacher and the group changed
A 13 year old with adventurous pleasure understands “can” something completely different from you, me and any reasonable riding instructor 😏
I guess there’ll be a reason why your riding teacher leaves you in the group.
It will be a bit better to appreciate your equestrian skills than you and if you are not ridden without a saddle, it’s just a wonderful riding school. You don’t ride without a saddle.
You don’t take any beginners into the terrain. That would be stupid and dangerous. So absolutely understandable that the RL handles it there so.
If you want to be more encouraged, talk to Rl. This person is there for that.
I’ll tell you too. I’ve been riding a lot, pussies, I’ve been ridden more times without a saddle. With us on the farm you always come to the beginners group (in the beginning), no matter how good you can ride. You can also change the group, but only after a year. I’ve only been there for half a year, I can’t change.
Hopefully you don’t take a riding school anymore and generally no stable.
You don’t even do pussies. Never.
Riding without saddle can be done twice a year on a well muscled horse for a few minutes in step. But even if you have a good seat yourself.
The stable in which you are now is apparently simply a stable with responsibility.
If that doesn’t suit you, just look for a stable where they’re gonna give you a shot* on the horses.
Things you’ve already done are already considered animal torture.
If you’re smart, you’ll stay with this stable and learn the responsible handling of a living being.
And in your attitude you will not change the group after another half year. Because keeping on a running pony has nothing to do with what you learn in a reasonable class. Horseback riding does not mean to force the animal somehow his will and stay without.
Learn to ride away from the Pike, then you can find your challenges in multi-faceted sports later. Or you’re going to the racetrack. But even there is a demand for control, and no arbitrary “feeding”.
5 years are quite little and only because you own a horse you don’t have direct idea.
Unfortunately, there are too many people who get a horse without knowing.
If the people you know make the same statements as you, it is unfortunately also the case there.
I have been riding for 5 years and know many with own horses
Then you had no contact with anyone who really knows horses.
Here you have already heard it from several.
Like I said, learn a little about horses. Then you wouldn’t come up with the idea of wanting to torture them and wouldn’t overestimate your skills.
If you mean 🤷🏽 ♀️
I’ve heard of no one yet, but well
It’s not my opinion, it’s a fact.
If you have any idea, you know.
Without a saddle, it was only two times. So, in your opinion, things are the many riding schools that all make animal torture. My current as well as just in summer. I believe many who have replied have not even understood it correctly
