Depends on what badge.

  • horses are available on many equestrian farms; in the state of knowledge, own horses are rather the exception
  • for riding badges 5 and 4 you can also find corresponding school horses in corresponding riding stables, which regularly offer badge courses. Here, however, many also have their own horse, some also riding participation.
  • For riding badges 4 discipline-specific one finds very rarely school horses, and needs a separate or a riding share
  • For riding badges 3-1, your own horse is almost indispensable, or you’re in a sphere where you’re paid for riding.

Many companies offer RA5 at least on their school horses.

I know this from my daughter – she made all badges on school horses (or club).
