see the CPU list PRIME B450-PLUS|Mainboards|ASUS Germany and rule of thumb: install the latest BIOS IMMER and in your case BEFORE the instalation of the new CPU, otherwise the board refuses to work

and 5700G are only installed if you don’t want to build a dedicated GPU, otherwise you can reach the 5700x or as a player to the 5700x3D

well, then it should be

unless… You didn’t install anotherres board… because then you had the wrong BIOS version and then you won’t see it

BIOS update? is easy: download, unpack on an internal disk, go to the BIOS, start the update tool there and then select it and the rest will reconfigure the BIOS itself and then. no more witchcraft

and since it is called Asus, you have to unpack the ziop completely and let the BIOSRenamer run first, because only then can the BIOS start with the file

yes, ABER as I wrote: update to the current version, no warning why people still have shcmerzens before: Microcode is always updated and just because of the BIOS logo you should update

CPU list, 5700G search and then the BIOS version has to be installed at minimum so that the bios can recognize the CPU and the system goes up

but not for more than 800€, the 5700x3D is only a quarter of and is not bad

and even if you are willing to invest over 800€, you will upgrade to AM5 with a 7800x3D
