Refurbished iPhone battery?

Hello,

I recently ordered a refurbished iPhone Xs, but when it arrived, the battery was so bad that I had to return it immediately. It was from a professional eBay seller with lots of positive reviews and 100% battery life.
Do all refurbished iPhones have such a bad battery or was this an exception in my case?

“Refurbished” is not a defined term. You should always find out what the relevant trader understands. Was the phone checked for a short time in sight and cleansed superficially? Or were tests done and even components professionally exchanged? The spectrum is very large here. Therefore, a flat-rate statement is not possible.

From the trend, you are better off with companies specializing in reprocessing. Errors can also happen there (even new devices can have errors). Absolute security is not available.

Don’t be surprised. Some eBay seller continues to move used phones. He doesn’t care about cell phone batteries and battery management systems with expensive hardware. Have you been able to undo the purchase and get your money back?

If you want to have a decent iPhone with a decent battery, you either need to buy a new one or with well-known reliable wholesalers.
