Legal question about the exchange rate?
What are the legal consequences if I send money back and forth with friends via PayPal in ARS, thereby accumulating my money? For example, I send €1 to my girlfriend. My girlfriend receives €1, but only 0.60 cents is debited from my account because of the ARS-to-€ exchange rate.
If profits are achieved, you are taxable.
Profits from currency transactions remain tax-free after one year. If a profit is obtained from the purchase and sale of foreign currency amounts, this is a taxable private sale transaction, provided that the period between purchase and sale is not more than one year.
Apart from the abzock factor……
The question is pointless. That doesn’t work. In the end, only the bank wins, which take a fee for the currency conversion.
