Legal question WWII?

Hello everyone, I once had the idea of making a book or notebook where I would write about the Nazi era and print out and paste in photos, pictures, letters and things like that from that time, including original pictures from the concentration camps, for example Auschwitz, Dachau, Mauthausen. There are also uncensored pictures, so you can see absolutely everything, including severed heads and things like that. Is it allowed for me to print out pictures like that and paste them into my notebook? It should simply show what was going on back then and give you the best possible insight into the time?

The fact that you create such a book should not be a problem, but you need to ask the rights holders of texts, letters and images for permission – at least if you want to publish it.

This is not a problem for you private, even if you show it to someone (single).
