Read hard drives?

At that time, I removed the HDD from my PS4 and upgraded it to an SSD.

I have two HDDs lying around that have very old clips on them, or rather one of the two.

I tried to simply put it back in, but the hard drives have to be reformatted so that the PlayStation can boot again.

Then I bought a USB to SATA adapter to connect the HDDs to my PC, thinking I'd be able to access the hard drive. Unfortunately, I can't.

Does anyone know anything about hard drives and can help me read them so I can watch my old clips from when life seemed so carefree.

I’ve been flying around two HDDs, very old clips on it or on one of the two.

Whatever you mean… 🤷 ♂️

I just tried to reinstall them, but the hard drives need to be reformatted so that the Playsi can launch again.

In WAS you wanted to build them?

Then I bought a USB on SATA adapter to connect the HDDs to my PC because I thought you can then get into the hard drive. You can’t.

With a USB2SATA adapter, you can’t mount it in the PC – it’s not meant for it. At best as a temporary, external drive.

Knows someone with hard drives to help me read out so I can watch my old clips when life seemed so careless.

It is to be assumed that a previously internal HDD volume (drives) installed in the PS4 contains file systems that are not compatible with Windows/Linux/MacOS.
So, Nö – forget it.
Unless you find any software that allows this.

…and you think this explanation would change the least? Think again!

Yeah, that’s it, but with power supply.

The PC cannot use the data.
