The BVG is idiot-proof and really. Every person in the world knows that the basic Latin letters. Others go, you compare.

The BVG has 3 traffic zones A/B/C

Tickets are available for AB/BC or ABC.

Which district you are traveling in is not fundamentally relevant. As little as relevant, which train/S/U-Bahn/Strab you use.

Here you will find the plan of the traffic zones

https://www.bvg.de/de/tickets-und-tariffs/tariff zone and tariff regulations

In the website you will find the hint below

If you are only traveling within the city border Berlin, you are definitely right with a ticket AB.

Below the link to the PDF of the S-Bahn and subway network of the city, you can see which station is located. And check if you're in AB or BC.

Both depend on each stop in the city.

If you have the info you need to buy a ticket. that goes on bus and road in the vehicle. At S./U-Bahn in the stations.

Since you won't be precise, it may be true, but it cannot be. See best on the BVG or VBB side.

You should write from where to go.
