I seem to have a real mistake in my thinking. From 01.04.24-31.12.24 it is 9 months or not? So does that include April or am I wrong? 12-4 would be 8 but since April is included +1 that would be 9 months.

This is why
ZC/ZD as 3/(3+2) = 3/5
.
(d)
CE/DF as ZC/ZD
CE/DF is the yield factor which must be the same as CE to DF
Thank you.
