RAM upgrade?

I want to upgrade the RAM on my old PC.

The task manager says that I have a DDR 3.

I would like to buy the following RAM: https://www.kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/xms3-ddr3-2x-8gb/3000812457-225-2573 do you think it will fit?

If your Board supports DDR3 RAM, KIT can press in. I don’t know why I would use such old technology in a system (aside from nostalgia projects).

No. Your board supports either DDR3 (this is extremely outdated); DDR4 or the current standard DDR5.

Best 32 GB. With such a system, however, I would buy a new one. Windows 11 gets no official support and so it is exhausting to get all the updates. However, if you use Linux, you can really use my old PC that I use as a server also only has an old board with DDR3 and TrueNas cool.

Yeah, well, if that’s not your main calculator then I can understand that I did with my old one too. But I can also get many old computers through my training.

Hello,

this is DDR3 RAM. So he’ll fit. But you should remove your old memory from the PC.
