Hey, I recently got an extra 16 GB of RAM, and CPU Z says that two of the RAM sticks are running in dual channel while the other two are running in single channel… Is that normal? Best regards.

Das steht nicht bei CPU Z, denn das ist technisch schon gar nicht möglich.
Entweder werden ALLE RAM-Module im Single-Channel-Modus betrieben oder ALLE werden im Dual-Channel-Modus betrieben. Mischbetrieb unterstützt der Speichercontroller schon nicht.
Der Eintrag bei “Rank” hat nichts mit Single- oder Dual-Channel zu tun, sondern mit der Organisation der Speicherchips auf dem RAM-Riegel – sprich die interne Struktur des RAMs.
Steck den RAM in die vorgesehenen slots dann laufen sie dual channel.
Wenn du z.B 4 steckplätze hast, ist es oft Slot 2 und Slot 4 um 2 Riegel im Dual channel zu betreiben. Schau dir die Anleitung deines Mainboards an
