Rain jacket on the course?
Hi, I'm going to a show this weekend and unfortunately it's supposed to rain. So I bought a see-through rain jacket, hoping I might be allowed to wear it during the competition as well… I'm doing a show jumping competition and a penalty/time trial. Does that make a difference/is the rain jacket also allowed to be worn over the jacket in the course?
No. It's only when you're spreading, not in the course. But isn't a drama, you're not on the road for hours.
But three minutes in the rain are enough to be completely through. Suddenly, if you want to ride a second exam. And not everyone has two jackets or riding pants. I often see starters riding with rain jackets or ponchos. My sister also has such a transparent thing and starts with it.
Yeah, stupid is always when it rains. Some organizers don't mind, just rural smaller tournaments probably don't say anything about kids/young people. But on a larger stage, which is usually not allowed.
Thank you, I'm actually riding two exams and it's supposed to shake but then I'm just going back to the registration office and ask again toπ
I would have said more correctly dressed in style examinations, otherwise it goes through. Since style is usually only written up to A, rather with the larger ones with the jacket.
One more tip: Rainlegs is in white.
It's reasonable. Must have been a lot of people. Nevertheless, it is not a common practice.
2 weeks ago we had a slightly bigger tournament and there are also many with rain jacket started π€·π» βοΈ
I think it is possible to do it (in jumping, it always doesn't matter). But best ask at the location at the reporting point or if it is allowed to go safely.
Well, I don't think so, one thing is jumping a style, I've heard there's even deduction when the man is not braided.
I'd ask in the registration. I've seen it more often. Probably tolerated. They're happy when the starters come in spite of the storms.
