Quit your part-time job for your main job?
Hello, I've been working a €450 a month job for five years. Now I have the opportunity to switch to a full-time job. I'm currently supplementing my income with Hartz IV benefits. Am I allowed to resign without notice if I can start the job immediately?
You will also have to stick to the notice period as well as the employer if there is a proper termination.
Could talk to the employer and try to agree to a cancellation contract.
You should quit the minijob first, where: the new employment contract signed is.
To cancel without notice, I would not recommend it.
Perhaps the mini-job employer agrees to a cancellation contract.
An abrogation agreement is the means to vote here!
Say or write that you’ll get a full place on the xx.xxx and therefore have to go.
Congratulations!
You may terminate in due course or ask the AG for an cancellation contract.
Without special reasons, you must not always comply with the notice periods
the only possibility is a cancellation contract
You will not be able to terminate without notice.
However, there is the possibility for the AG to ask for an cancellation contract that can be concluded at any date or also to adapt the working time to the full-time job until the termination period is over. If you still have a holiday claim in the minijob, you can also apply for it and stop it earlier.
Please always wait until the full-time job also KNOW.
Then submit the notice. With a mini job, you’ll probably get out of your own if you don’t follow the activity anymore.
However, I would not rely on an employer during this period and, in addition to the full-time job, I would build up a secondary activity which gradually does not need the dependency of employers:)
