Question about the first car?
I'll be turning 18 in March of this year, and my parents have allowed me to choose a vehicle up to €55,000. It can be electric or combustion-engined, but only from European manufacturers, and a Japanese Lexus. I've chosen the following cars: Audi A3, Mercedes A-Class, Volkswagen ID.3, Cupra Born, BMW 2 Series, and Cupra Formentor. I'm leaning toward an electric car. The Born, A-Class, or 2 Series are in the running. Which would you choose and why?
If it fits into your usage profile, electric is definitely a great choice, so I would also take the VW. As an alternative, there is something like a Tesla Model 3, Ford Mustang Mach-E or Mercedes EQA 250. You should look at them.
yes tesla model 3 would have been my first choice but, as I said, only European manufacturers or Lexus may be.
Tesla is in the tüv report just before Dacia. They’re underground.
What’s important is the Knautschzone.
In a 3 limousine, your head is 2 meters behind the front plate. This is a little bit considering how fast a car is and crashtests take place at 64 km/h.
The smaller the crumb zone, the more violent the effects on your organs/brain, because the g forces increase immensely.
So it is not necessarily about whether or not a passenger cell breaks down, it is also about how strong the acceleration affects your body parts.

An X3 SUV is actually only a high-level and modified 3’s, on the same modular platform as 4’s, 5’s, 6’s, 7’s and 8’s.
what might make him safer is that in a wild accident the big animal does not fly so fast into the windshield. Another but that was it.
crashes an SUV into an SUV is good, the bodies are supported at the same height. A Porsche drives the suv driver’s legs. the Porschefshrer lacks the head
I will give thanks to my parents. But as I said, no SUV would be liked
Your parents are right. But one thing I have to criticize:
You prefer to buy a compact car with a lot of ps than a larger car with less ps = the same
but in the event of an accident you can quickly find a case for the intensive station in the compact car
Of the gap measurements, you’ve often heard. As I said I like Teslas but I would never get one as little as I would get a Toyota
There were reports a few days ago. The reasons are manifold.
In the end, the Americans also have no good quality controls, a friend of mine was with his new car several times at the far away Tesla car house to make it repaired. Split dimensions looked like the car had an accident. No rarity.
I didn’t know thank you.
So I would take the BMW 2er out of this selection. For 55,000€ it can be a 230i with good equipment.
From the Lexus, I generally guess.
Take an Audi A6 4b. Used with a dealer with full equipment, well maintained etc vllt so max 7k. The old things are more reliable and better.
Add 5000€ and order the MB EQB. Maybe your parents even say that if you suggest that it should not fail.
cool parents you definitely have 🙂
Thanks for your answer but I think 55k is already enough
Well, you’re just gonna get compact cars…
Wanted to bring exactly the same proposal 👍
Then:
BMW 2er Coupé in Thundernight metallic
Yes cars are anyway uneconomical whether Sandero or S-Class if I buy an economical car then only oldtimer or sports cars. Quote my father. says I believe everything that is absolutely not respected
But then I wouldn’t buy a new one if I sold it back then I don’t have to be an expensive Mercedes, who keeps much longer than a classic vag vehicle (vw Seat skoda Audi )
Can be good but buy our cars again and again and after 4 years they are gone and new come. But your aspect makes every sense
Today, a newly bought car is kept for so long until the repairs are no longer worth it, so 12-25 years.
Yes and I also want a compact car that is sporty and not a limousine or SUV. But thanks yes I have cool parents and actually don’t want to fail when the car 58. or 59k but 60k is quite over for a beginner
a mini of the MK VI series.
the above would be too boring and mainstream at the age. but to each one’s own taste
thank you for your answer but I don’t find the upper mainstream
The ones who are not so mainstream look visually but rather after pensioner cars
Why such environmental hurdles like electric, which usually don’t even come across TÜV in three years?
At least those from BMW are coming over, according to their report.
my parents drive an electric car for everyday life (Audi Etron Gt and Bmw IX) and where it works and would be better for the environment as an electric car emits 40% less co2. And a 4 cylinder where there is no sound in this class anyway
Sound comes from Kendrion from Malente. And less sounds good, after all, so much has been generated in production that cannot be compensated.
Also gives the A6 4b with V8
but it doesn’t seem good in my opinion that a sound can only be heard well from 8 cylinders (own experiences)
