Question about the Deutsche Bahn Group ID card

Hello everyone,
I’m starting an apprenticeship at Deutsche Bahn on September 1st and received my Group ID card today.
Maybe some of you are familiar with it and can help me.
What exactly can I do with this card now?
How can I use it for free travel? So let’s say I want to travel on the ice, can I do that with the free tickets or are they only for local transport?
And how do I actually get these free tickets ? from the vending machine or how ?
How do I see what is on this group pass?

I would be happy to receive more information

The Group’s ID is primarily to prove you 😀 That’s the way forward.
As the “High Performance FTF” said, you will come with the ID to the management building and Co. In the canteen, you have the option if you have “charged” the identity card (like a prepaid card), to pay your food with it or just pay for it and then pay cash.
The most important thing for you is that you have to show yourself on company trips with this ID. This means that if you are controlled, you have to present this ID on a company trip and free ride.
If you still want to know, ask! 😉

With the protein you get into your administration building, break rooms and pay in the canteen. You will then be shown closer to your free rides at the start of your training – Intern.

Hello

Ask your employer or colleagues who can tell you exactly how it is. I don’t think that should be made public!
