Question about Excel?

Hello,

For my seminar paper, I had various people complete a questionnaire. I now want to analyze it in Excel using the correlation coefficient (to compare the questionnaire results with other characteristics). One question on the questionnaire, for example, asked how long the person slept at night. Possible answers included 5-8 hours or less than 5.

How do I enter the value 5-8 or less than 5 in Excel so that I can further evaluate (with the correlation coefficient)?

Thanks!

You can use this as a column header, use tick fields and evaluate them accordingly.

If you need from 5-8, also the 6 and 7, you will need to specify all for ticking and then enter for evaluation.
